Dean is a hospitality industry performance consultant, trainer, professional speaker and Executive Coach. Over the past 18 years, Dean has worked on numerous performance improvement projects, ranging from working with individuals and small firms to Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and in over twenty countries. Clients include hospitality industry associations, hoteliers, DMCs, and convention bureaus. Dean co-created “Executive as Coach” training that educates executives on how to coach managers through the application of a 360-degree feedback leadership assessment process. He is a contributing author to the “Praeger Handbook of Human Resource Management.”
Dean holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Performance & Change from Colorado State University. He is certified in Appreciative Inquiry and Emotional Intelligence. He is a graduate of Advanced Coaching Skills Training with Anthony Robbins Companies and partners with the company as a Results Coach. His educational background and extensive experience in the hospitality industry creates a dynamic backdrop for his powerful workshops, training and keynote presentations.
Dean served on the Board of Directors of Destination Colorado and is a past Chairman of the Board of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the National Speaker Association, National Speaker Association Colorado Chapter, and Denver Coach Federation.
